About the Role

• This role will focus on policy research and impact analysis of food loss and waste (FLW), helping to identify policy interventions and assess their socio-economic and environmental effects.
• Research (75%), Project Management (5%), Communication and Partnerships (20%)
• Conduct policy analysis on food loss and waste reduction, identifying gaps, best practices, and opportunities for policy interventions.
• Analyze the effectiveness of existing policies and strategies in addressing FLW and propose evidence-based recommendations.
• Support in planning, coordinating, and managing research initiatives related to FLW.
• Engage with policymakers, industry stakeholders, research institutions, and civil society organizations to drive policy dialogues on FLW.

Requirements

• Studying towards a Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree or professional qualification with a quantitative, statistical, energy and/or economics focus.
• Strong collaboration skills, ability to creatively problem solve
• Great written and verbal communication
• A genuine interest in energy market dynamics – some knowledge of the key drivers of the energy transition (through studies or general background reading) would be beneficial
